Ceasefire NJ has been at the cutting edge of fighting to stop gun violence in our schools and communities for over 20 years.  We led a five-year campaign that culminated with New Jersey becoming the first state to pass a Childproof Handgun bill.  A Princeton University study showed that legislation like ours could prevent school shootings like those above, and estimated it could save the lives of over 3,000 of our precious children each year!
